Well i haven't updated here for quite some time huh?

Ok shall tok about yesterdae 1st... Went to sing kbox at suntec wif mummy and grandma! Actualli we were supposed to sing from 11 to 3, but we juz dragged all the wae to 4+ haha... The bill totalled up to $7 per person, which is relatively cheap, but well i'm still quite dissatisfied that they gave us 2 drinks each instead of 1 drink + 1 pastry... If that was the case, we cld have saved on lunch! =X But well it was another enjoyable experience of loud bringing-the-house-down singing haha... And i oso think we shld neva go back there again coz those ppl look set to eat us up for the din that we've created there...

Hmmm last week was boring... Stayed at home and rotted on mon, tues and fri... Wed went out wif my mum and treated her to the crystal jade (coz i haven't gave her a treat since i started working), thurs hanged out wif candice and huiyin... Sat went out wif mummy and grandma and wandered about orchard (but roaming about wif them is never boring haha), played arcade for a while (finally i found someone to play arcade wif!) and had dinner at lido again (coz of the free flow drinks at kfc haha). Life without work is realli THAT dull and somewhat monotonous...

It's been almost 2 weeks since my NIE interview, and i realli hope to hear from them soon... Coz after checking the NUS website a couple of daes ago, i realised that i've been offered arts and social sciences and i hafta reply them by the 31st (which is next mon)... The thing is, i wld prefer going to NIE instead of FASS (coz i dun think i stand a chance to take up psychology in there), so wat if my NIE letter doesn't come b4 next mon? Do i hafta put the $500 deposit at NUS juz to secure a place there (as a backup plan in case NIE rejects me)? It's ridiculous isn't it? Argh thinking of this juz gives me a big headache...

All this uni stuff is juz SO frustrating... Y did they hafta change the system this year?

So blogger realli changed its settings and all. Now it's getting more user-unfriendly... I wld give the previous system 9 out of 10, but for this one, i guez, the most is a 5 out of 10. I mean, it looks totally weird and doesn't work as well oso... Sux.

Hmmm time to update wat happened this week... I worked from mon to wed and finally wed was my last dae... Felt so relieved to get out of that place. Thurs was a big dae, so i shall elaborate more on it. Morning was my NIE interview, which went pretty smoothly i would sae... The qns that the 4 interviewers fired at me were rather manageable, so at least i did ok. Then at ard noon me mummy and grandma met up for lunch and went for our 5-hr long karaoke session! It was realli great man! Imagine letting our vocals run wild for the entire 5 hrs and singing to our hearts' content! Oh and not forgetting, scaring everyone off wif my LOUD singing (or yelling) haha... It's a realli good wae to vent ur emotions sia. Dinner was at the foodcourt at PS... The indonesian food was real fabulous! The grilled chicken set that me and grandma ordered was juz so delicious... Shall add it on to my list of places wif good food...

Yesterdae the 3 of us went adecco in the morning (me to demand for timesheets, grandma to hand in her timesheet and mummy to sign up) and after that we went mummy's hse to havoc! Watched 'how to lose a guy in 10 days' (though i've already watched it b4) and laughed throughout the movie... After which we juz slack ard her hse, watching tv, playing wif her makeup and eating her chips and pizza and cookies haha. Dinner was at KFC and we ate the 'extra tasty and crispy chicken' set... Now the chicken was actualli quite tasteless, and we all agreed the usual crispy chicken was so much nicer than this new prdt. Bad move, KFC.

Todae was spent rotting at home, wif almost nothing to do at all besides using the com. Realli can't wait to go out tomolo... Shall dig out some vcd to watch later... Ok shall stop here for now, ciaoz!

Okok i knoe i haven't blogged for such a LONG time and ppl r starting to wonder if i'm alive or dead. So i hereby announce: i'm back!

Well, i think laziness is the 1 of the main reasons y i din blog for so long... It's realli difficult to find some time, sit down, type out an entire blog entry and publish it... It doesn't take juz a short while u knoe... Argh forget it, i AM lazy.

So many things have happened in the span of 2 weeks, so i guez i shld juz sum it all up then... Here r the 5 major events:

1. I FINALLY got my interview letter from NTU (bachelor of education) last mon (which is like wat, 27 apr?). The interview is on this coming thurs, so wish me luck!

2. I signed up wif Adecco (a recruitment agency) last week and so far they've clinched 2 job offers for me! They r realli efficient! For wat the 2 jobs r, look at pts 3 and 4.

3. The 1st job is a photographer-like job at The Learning Lab (at united square) and the pay is $7 per hr! Went for the interview and all, but eventually the 'photography project' was put on hold so i'm oso put on hold.

4. The 2nd job (which is wat i've been doing since this mon) is an admin job for Philips Electronics but i'm stationed at the National Heart Centre (which is in SGH by the wae). The job is dead boring and i've to work alone in this small isolated room all dae. No one to tok to or to eat lunch wif at all! Sux. But well my last dae is the coming wed haha.

5. I dyed my hair dark red (which actualli turned out to look like brown) so now my hair colour looks more natural and not so loud.

Oh and here's sth else that's pretty important and urgent... Me and mummy and grandma r going thru a hard time trying to find some place to stay during uni coz if not, mummy wld be left alone and wld not be able to stay in hostel... So hey if anyone out there who knoes a good flat rental deal (in jurong west or boon lay pls) or is looking for a roommate to stay wif in NTU, pls drop me a msg!
