Back in my hall already... Shall start my entry wif the ZPOP concert last nite (for a more detailed and crazee acct of wat happened, pls refer to jiahui aka mummy's entry haha).
Ok i shall save on all the 'entering the Padang' and 'watching those channel U non-idols' bits... Shall start from the part when Energy went onto the stage to rehearse their dance moves... Everyone screamed and started surging forward as if there was like, free money to be given away or sth. So pushed by the crowd, we all had to move forward as well. Got stuck in this awkward position for 1 hr plus whereby everyone is so near u and u can smell all the B.O and stuff... I swear i felt like fainting at that moment sia. Asked hiang kiat and candice they all if they wanted to go to the back but no one wanted to lah, so me and mummy decided that we've had enuff and that by hook or by crook, we'll squeeze past the enormous crowd to go to the back for some fresh air. Haha surprise surprise, the back part was like practically empty save for those families who were sitting on the grass and enjoying a picnic while listening to the concert. Ok so i digress...
Anywae we ended up sitting wif kenneth and his frens at the back in the end (wat a good opportunity for mummy!)... Ok lah we were situated quite far behind and couldn't realli see the performing artistes
that clearly, but well the 'live' music was the thing that realli mattered rite? Shall start on my commentary of all the artistes that performed at the concert (in order of 'appearance'):
Nan Quan Ma Ma (aka Jay Zhou's proteges): They were surprisingly good! I love all the 4 songs they sang!
Ah Bao and Brandy: They are totally overrated. A veri forgettable performance of 2 mediocre songs.
Da Di (this band from China): I was squeezing out of the crowd wif mummy so i din see their performance. =X
Pu Shu: I was out buying dinner. Enuff said.
Linda: She was quite good lah... But can't realli remember wat song she sang besides the 'hey-yo-hey-yo-hey' song.
Stella Huang: As usual, clad in pink and acting like a sweety pie... Her 'Xi Ban Ya Kuang Xiang Qu' was good though.
Victor Chen: Give me a break. Next time, invite his sis instead.
Ben Yeung: Haha he's quite good-looking lah and i love the 'Tian Mi Feng Bao' song...
Sun Ho: I went to the toilet.
Z Chen: 1 of the bez performers for the nite! 'May I love You', 'Ling Chen San Dian Zhong', 'Bao You Wo' and not forgetting, 'Mo Ri Zhi Lian'... He was realli realli good!
JJ Lin: The 2nd bez performer for the nite! He made me tear wif his soulful rendition of 'Jiang Nan'... I love him!
Huang Yida: A bit disappointed by his 'live' singing skills (he went off-key a few times) but nevertheless, "Xian Wei Jing Xia De Ai Qing' was enuff to get me screaming and jumping and singing along!
Angela Chang: Another surprise of the nite. Onli 2 words to describe her - vocal powerhouse. A veri amazing performance.
F.I.R: The absolute highlight of the nite (i decided to go for ZPOP juz to catch them!)... They performed 'Lydia', 'Fly Away', 'Wo Men De Ai' and 'Revolution'. Everyone and esp me was high to the max! I cried while Faye sang 'Wo Men De Ai' coz it was such a moving performance! U can't sae u have watched a 'live' concert if u've neva seen F.I.R perform 'live'... They r juz so so so
fabulous!!!
Haha if u were sharp enuff, u wld realise that i skipped the parts on Ryu Si Won, Richie Ren and Energy... The reason is simple: I left rite after F.I.R has performed. Oh a comment about Energy: They looked damn black-faced that nite and realli looked veri attitude... Now i've a worse impression of them.

Yawn i'm at the com lab now again. Printing my notes and all... So sleepy...
It feels like i haven't blogged for years haha... Well i've been realli busy and stressed out this whole week lah so realli dun have time to touch the com at all. Shall first update about last week...
Thurs: Huiyin and co. (which includes Tingjun, Wendy, Kenneth and Wei Li) celebrated my bdae for me! Haha belatedly that is. It was realli nice meeting all of them and juz chatting away with them for the whole nite coz they r the ppl i can be realli comfortable and at ease with... Thanx for the cake and all guys!
Sat: Had our 21/02 claz outing... 13 ppl turned up altogether (which is quite a success already though that's onli half of the claz) and we spent the nite eating and chatting at Marche... It was nice talking to ppl like Shi Qi, Dennis, Henry and Yee Fong whom i haven't seen in years! Take care ppl, wherever u r now...
This week has been realli busy coz i devoted almost all my time from last sun all the wae to yesterdae for my marketing project... We were doing a case analysis on the car company Proton, and we realli spent lotsa time researching and meeting up to polish up our entire presentation. Our effort paid off when our tutor said it was (i quote) 'one of the bez presentations i've seen in the last 4 years'... Too bad it wasn't an assessed case (which means it is not counted towards our results at the end of the semester)... But nevertheless, it was a job well done! =)
This weekend is gonna be another busy one... On sat i've lect in the morning and in the evening i'm going to the ZPop concert! Haha i'm quite excited about that... F.I.R! JJ! Yida! Haha. Then sun i'm going to the COMEX exhibition at suntec wif my cousin to source for a laptop... Guez i'll realli have no time to study and all again... Shall try my bez to arrange my time i guez...

It is now late at nite. And here i am, in my hostel room, alone.
Grandma and mummy r already enjoying the comfort of their own beds at home. So y am i here? I've marketing lect later in the morning at 10.30am, so i stayed back for convenience's sake. Yawn i'm like so tired that i'm not even thinking straight...
Shall go sleep soon after i finish studying this chapter of accounting... Shall blog a longer entry over the weekend ba. Good nite ppl...

Hmmm shall blog about my 19th bdae (which coincidentally falls on fridae the 13th this year)...
The first to celebrate my bdae for me were grandma and mummy! Imagine me coming outta the bathroom, dripping wet and wif my towel, soap and shampoo blah blah on hand, to find the door to my room locked! Haha when they finally let me in, they sang the bdae song together and a cake (sponge cake to be exact) complete wif 10 candles came into view... Hehe so sweet of them! Thanx grandma and mummy for everything, i realli love the tote bag! =) *hugs*
Throughout the whole of fri, my hp was flooded wif bdae greetings! Hehe thanx a lot everyone for remembering my bdae! Esp those who made an effort to msg me at the stroke of midnite, thanx so much! I was realli touched... =)
In the evening i went out wif dear for dinner... Went to the Coffee Club at Paragon (the one that i had wanted to go for veri long) and ate this honey mustard chicken sandwich... It was delicious! The ice cuppucino was nice too but it caused me to have difficulty sleeping that nite! And i was realli shocked when dear realli presented me wif shopping vouchers - i mean, i din expect anyone to realli get shopping vouchers for me! I was juz kidding when i wrote that in my blog! Thanx so so much dear for taking time to celebrate my bdae wif me, i realli love ur presents! *muacks* =)
Once again, thanx to everyone who wished me happy bdae and celebrated my bdae for me... I realli appreciated it. U guys realli made my 19th bdae an unforgettable and memorable experience! Thanx so so much, i love u guys! =)
Oh and not forgetting candice who juz gave me this pair of exotic-looking earrings todae as a present... Thanx a lot girl! =)

Hehe it's time to reveal my bdae wishlist 2004! In no order of merit, they are...
1. An all-expenses-paid trip to Starbucks/Coffee Club Xpress to drink a good cup of coffee and eat a slice of delicious cheesecake!
2. An all-expenses-paid KTV trip for me to sing my hearts out!
3. An all-expenses-paid trip to Wild Wild Wet!
4. A shopping voucher of any kind for me to shop for the clothes i want! =X
5. A plain/striped tote bag (sth like the pink starry one that mummy is carrying now... minus the pink and the stars, coz i onli like the material and the strap!)
6. Money to finance my uni spending hahaha... (ok i'm kidding)
Note that besides the tote bag, there isn't realli
something that i want this year... I wld rather get to eat or play etc... Haha but i think this wishlist is rather unrealistic oso so yah juz put it up for fun lor... But yah i'm feeling pretty excited that my bdae is coming! Haha i'm delirious...

Yawn i'm now in the com lab again. Feeling veri tired now coz i woke up at like 7.15 todae? Coz todae my first and onli lesson is from 8.30 - 10.30 lor...
Marketing tut was fine... The tutor was realli cute and funny haha. Nice lady. But yah juz realised that for marketing tut u hafta be veri vocal and participate actively in the discussions and all lor (juz like for the financial management seminar)... Then there r many instances whereby u need to make presentations and speak to the whole claz lor which to me is sth quite
horrifying. As in, i've this fear for public speaking, and speaking to a whole bunch of strangers is simply an impossible task for me... Juz like todae, i stuttered and totally avoided all eye contact when it was my turn to do this mini introduction of the person beside me... Goodness, i felt juz like a shy primary 1 kid. Think i better brush up on my communication skills in order to survive the other tuts, coz after all i'm in business, and ppl in business r supposed to be vocal, independent and confident, which i dun think i am. *bitter smile*
Besides marketing, i'm feeling veri stressed by the workload for the other subjects... Stats alone got me almost crying last nite, coz i realised i forgot everything of my JC stats... Accounting is driving me nuts, and financial mgt is completely incomprehensible. Think i'm going to die soon if i dun find some wae to arrange my time properly and catch up wif all my work.
Ok think i better not write on le if not i'll neva stop... Wish me luck ppl... Shall update again soon.

Oh. I realised todae is the 1st of
August!
Haha august is my fav fav fav month! But this year i've been so busy and all that i din realise august is here so soon... Which means National Dae is coming soon. Which means my
bdae is coming soon too!
Pardon me for being so crazee. Juz got so excited all of a sudden haha... Shall draw up a wishlist soon i guez. As for now, 1 hr left b4 i return to my dear hostel...
It's time to sum up the 1st week of sch! Hmmm life was generally ok i guess, and i'm slowly getting used to living in my hostel room...
Wed's flag dae was crap - after standing for so many hrs and begging ppl to donate, i think i onli filled 1/4 of the tin (which onli = 1 pathetic eca pt). If i had known earlier, i wld neva have joined lor...
Lectures have been pretty fine, though there r some stuff that i dun understand. The accounting lecturer was a replica of LKT (that's my JC chem teacher, for those who dunno), talking lots of lame and irrelevant rubbish and showing senseless video clips throughout the lecture. He crapped for the 1.5 hrs, then decided to rush through everything at the last half hr, and eventually ended 15 mins late. I can't believe i missed the F.I.R. performance juz to hear that guy bullshit... The statistics lecturer was worse, he talked like jay chou (u can't make out a single thing he's saying), rushed through the lecture like a bullet train and ended the lecture 15 mins early. However, the marketing lecturer was a
big exception. He's the bez lecturer u can eva asked for, humorous yet serious and focused about the subject, speaks a lot from experience etc... No wonder he was named the bez marketing lecturer... I think he's juz like helen chong (my JC econs teacher, whose excellent teaching influenced me and made me fell in love wif econs), as after the 1st lecture, i already think marketing is going to be the subject i enjoy most. Hopefully my interest for marketing will be sustained lah yah...
