Haha i'm veri happy todae (ok, it's yest...)! Plan 2805, cheng2 gong1! =)
To those who's wondering wat's going on, it's juz this surprise plan for mummy's bdae... Speaking about that,
Happy Belated Birthdae Mummy (aka Miss Choo or Jiahui)!!!
Anywae this plan wld not have been successfully executed without the help of
ZR (who collaborated wif me to plan this whole thing) and his gang, and oso the briliant acting and suggestions coming from
grandma! Haha. I esp love the part when we were like saying 'where shall we go eat dinner?' and grandma started saying 'hmmm let's go PS lah, there have a lot of food outlets' blah blah... Wah we realli act till we r like
seriously contemplating where is the bez place to eat out of all the diff choices, when in actual fact everyone is already waiting for our
grand arrival at Cafe Cartel... Super funny haha.
Ok lah hope everyone had fun and most importantly, hope the
bdae girl enjoyed herself! Not bad leh 1st time involved in planning such an event... Great sense of accomplishment haha. =)
And besides this surprise mission, todae (oh well, it's yest) was oso a fun-filled dae. Shopped the whole stretch of orchard road, but guez wat, there was nothing that realli caught my fancy. But i still enjoyed the process of shopping hehe... Shopping wif mummy and grandma is always an enjoyable thing to do! =) And the dinner at Cartel was nice oso, and the mango cake was fabulous! Now i dun hate mango so much le... Good taste mummy!
So yupz this pretty much sums up my
happy dae! Haha. So mummy pls dun worry that we din enjoy ourselves and stuff like that kae?
Yay! Mission accomplished. Time to take a good rest and have a good nite's sleep! Nitezie ppl!

Results r
out! Er ok lah it's much better than last sem's, but i'm juz sad that i din have any As for this sem either... Which means, i din have any As for the
entire year 1 lor! Wah. Wat a failure.
Shall not announce my results here to the whole world lah haha. All i can sae is, yupz i'm satisfied, but i feel this tinge of disappointment oso... But nvm, it'll pass...
Now, all i can do is to hope and pray that i can get into my desired specialisation successfully. May things go smoothly for me!
For some strange reason, the comments function hasn't been working (at least that's wat i see from my com)... So to solve this problem, i've finally come up wif an idea...

Had 21/02 claz outing last nite at
Vil'age at China Square Central. We had quite a hard time finding the place, coz apparently China Square Central and China Square itself r 2 different places... Anywae Vil'age was a total rip-off of Marche, the furniture is the same, the ambience is the same, and even the variety of food available is exactly the same as Marche! Except that the food at Vil'age tasted much worse lah, as expected. Had a fun time talking over dinner wif the whole bunch of them, and it was indeed great to meet up wif ppl such as
Rex and
Shi Qi whom i haven't seen in a long time! Rex is still as funny (and lame) as ever haha...
Results will be out this
fri. And i'm feeling the jitters already. Pls pls pls let me do well for all my 4 core subjs, coz i realli need good results to apply for my preferred specialisations... So ppl, pls do pray for me kae?

I realised that i've been eating a lot eva since the start of the hols. And when i sae
a lot, i mean it.
Take for example todae. I ate char kway teow and fish soup (i shared them both wif dear) at Amoy Street for lunch. I then had this small serving of fried rice when i was at Kbox. Following that, i oso ate Tori-Q, carrot cake, and gelato from Venezia (all shared wif dear oso lah). And i was still tempted to eat Mac fries after that!
This is bad. I've been spending so much on food nowadaes, and now i'm so
broke! Yet every time i'll juz follow my heart and eat wateva i like, coz yupz eating makes me happy! This is so unlike me during term time, when i'll scrimp and save on my meals and survive on $1.30 cai4 fan4 and instant noodles every dae... Perhaps this is coz i'm more kan4 kai1 le nowadaes and realise that it's silly to make myself miserable by eating so little and all juz to save money. Haha.
But another bad thing. After eating so much recently, i dun think i've gained any weight. I'm still as
bony as eva. Does that mean all this food i've been eating have all gone to waste?

Like mummy, i haven't been blogging for quite some time. Time for updates!
On thurs, me, mummy and grandma went to tanjong pagar again to eat and sign up wif agencies (coz me and grandma r still, unfortunately, unemployed). We went to Amoy Street Food Centre again and i tried the famous
fish soup (which is juz opp the delicious
wonton mee stall)... It was the bez fish soup i've eva tasted, and the serving is
huge! I'm definitely going back for more next time!
Fri was
brownies dae! Me and grandma went to mummy's hse to havoc and bake lovely yummy brownies! They were indeed comparable to those sold in Starbucks or Coffee Bean! We r seriously contemplating on whether to set up a brownie stall on our own! Haha. Any interested investors? =P I took a picture of the end product being served on a plate, but somehow it din turn out nice, so i shan't post it here! Later that evening, we had dinner at this food centre at Chong Pang, and i ate
char kuay teow for the 1st time... I'm not kidding, i realli haven't tasted the famous local dish before yest! I guez it's coz my family doesn't like such oily dishes, so we've neva eaten it when we go out for meals and stuff... But nevertheless, it was yummylicious! There were
14 clams/oysters in it!
Todae was shopping dae wif dear! We walked ard orchard and i finally bought my Giordano spaghetti-strap top... I decided to go take a look at the bag+shoes shop at Heeren again (i went there last week as i was searching for my perfect bag), and guez wat,
i found my dream bag! The length of the strap was perfect, the colour and design was perfect, and the prize was perfect! Now i have a nice bag to carry when i go out! Yay! =)
The weekend is almost over. And mon is coming. Hai. It's gonna be a torturing 3 hrs in sch again wif that eccentric old man. Help. I dun wanna be brainwashed.

Had a dreadfully long dae in sch todae. Yes, it's that dreadful
Tao thing, which starts from 9.30am to 12.30pm and again from 1.30pm to 4.30pm. Haha we left at 3.30pm though, coz there's juz nothing to do there and we've already marked our attendance.
Imagine. 1 hr of brainwashing ('Dao4 ke3 dao4, fei1 chang2 dao4...') by the old guy, followed by 2 hrs of being
forced to sit wif our newly-formed grps and tok. Yes, juz
tok, tok about anything and everything under the sun. So we hafta waste 2 hrs out of 3 hrs sitting there and doing nothing. Wat the?!
So during the afternoon session, when the old guy announced that we shld get into our grps and tok, me and mummy fled the scene immediately.
A horrifying thing that i juz discovered less than 2 hrs ago: The
Mentos cool chews that i bought yest (it's the china version, i realised it onli after i've paid for it) is already past its expiry date! It's manufactured on 6th May 2003, and it's supposed to expire on 6th May 2005! So wat the hell issit doing on the supermarket's shelves?! *fuming wif anger*
And wat's the bez thing? I've already finished half of the mints.

Todae's been a bad dae.
Tao sux. I dun like to work wif a grp of strangers for some unknown proj. I dun wanna learn about wat 'action learning' and those dao4 de2 jing1 crap. Spare me from all those pls.
And the ultimate:
Y did that damn restaurant reject my application?! (note that i said 'my' and not 'our', and the word 'application' has no 's' behind it) Wat did i do wrong u tell me!!!
I've decided. I'll neva patronise that stupid act-posh
italian restaurant. And to u, that stupid manager who decided to reject me, it's
ur loss that u din want me, coz i was realli determined to make use of the opportunity and do my job well (since i've always been wanting to work as a waitress). I shall ask all my family and frens to boycott ur damn restaurant.

I realised i've been MIA for the past few daes... Not surprising, given the fact that i've been going out every dae since Wed when i finished my last paper (SS)!
Went out wif mummy and grandma on Wed after SS paper. Went Suntec to eat and as u all might have known already (those of u who read mummy's blog), we each ate a gigantic $0.60 ice-cream (which i took half an hr to finish!) and it was juz heavenly... So ice-cream lovers out there, hurry down to
Carrefour (Suntec branch) now!
Went out again wif mummy and grandma on thurs to eat, sign up wif agencies and go for an 'interview' at this restaurant (which i shall not name for now)... We finally got to eat our
Amoy Street wonton mee! Haha the happiest of all was of coz grandma, as she's been dreaming of it for mths! Yummylicious indeed. The 'interview' at the restaurant went well, but the managers left us wif the typical 'we'll call u up once we decide to employ u'... *frowns* And i still haven't heard of them till todae! *frowns frowns frowns* =( I hope they'll get back to us soon, coz i realli wanna take up the waitressing job!
Went wif dear to eat Seoul Garden on fri... Stuffed myself up wif prawns, prawns and more prawns! Haha. (Those who have gone to Seoul Garden wif me before will knoe that i can down 100 prawns at 1 go!) Ok lah i oso ate some chicken, fish, tofu, vegetables etc etc lah... And not forgetting the chocolate ice-cream! Haha i juz can't get enuff of ice-cream eh?
And yest i stayed at home to laze around. Watch tv, read books etc...
I shall draw up a wishlist for this hols! In no order of merit, they are:
1. Eat all the good food in Singapore! Haha.
2. Get a stable job and earn some cash to finance my spending!
3. Get myself 2 new bags! One for going to sch, one for going out.
4. Get a pair of Levis
5. Get new clothes
6. Get new shoes
7. Get my fav Canon Digital IXUS i5 (if i'm eva rich enuff)
8. Go sing ktv for as many times as i want!
The list goes on, but i think i shall stop here before all of u go into dreamland.

I officially moved out of my hostel on saturdae, 30th april. Wanted to stay for 1 more dae actualli, but due to some last-min stuff, the moving-out date was brought forward...
It was too rush. We were so busy carrying our stuff downstairs (most of it is
my stuff, coz i have thousands of small baggages), checking that we din miss out anything and so on that we din have time to take a good last look at our room. Nor did we have the chance to pose for a picture at the doorway (we actualli planned to do that, but sadly, no time). Regrets...
Juz like the past few daes, i'll start missing my hostel terribly when nite falls. I miss everything about the room,
our room for the past 9.5 mths... It accompanied me throughout my entire year 1 life, and esp through the exam periods, when i can stay there for up to a mth without going home. I miss the times we spent as well, initially wif the 3 of us (when mummy was ard), and during the 2nd semester, the 2 of us (grandma and me)... The times when we talked about everything under the sun, eat meals together, did everything together, have fun together, screamed together coz of the beetle incident and the cockroach incident and so much more... All these r realli times that i'll neva eva forget...
It's been a realli great experience staying wif ur bez frens instead of ur family, coz u get to enjoy more freedom, become more independent and most importantly, u get to form closer bonds wif these special frens of urs. I wouldn't trade this experience for anything else in the world, it's realli priceless. But now that we no longer stay in hostel anymore, there's this fear that we may start to 'drift apart' and stuff, u knoe? Quite a sad thing i guez...
But well, i guez there's quite a high possibility of us going back to stay in hostel in the future, as the distances from our homes to sch r realli far. It's tiring to make a 2-hr trip to sch early in the morning every dae... So yupz, there r still chances of reliving that experience again! Hehe. But till then, i guez we'll be contented wif living in the comfort of our homes, where we can watch exciting tv programmes, and most importantly, eat home-cooked food! Haha.
