Although voting is already closed, i still wanna announce here that...
Derrick Hoh Wei Jian is my SUPERSTAR!!!
Like mummy and many others, i was truly
touched by his rendition of 'Hen Xiang Ni' during the revival round tonite... The wae he sang it... So filled wif
emotion... That it realli touches ur heart as u listen to his soulful voice. I was so moved by his performance that i almost teared. Not even JJ's live rendition of 'Yi Qian Nian Yi Hou' last nite (during his concert at NP) had the power to move me to this extent...
I realli wish that Wei Jian can make it through to the semis... So that we, the audience, can continue listening to his emotive singing... It's hard to find singers who sing wif such
sincerity nowadaes...
JJ's concert last nite was
pretty good. He talked a lot about his album, the wae he composed his songs and how he incorporated his ideas into creating the whole album etc... I must sae that i'm seeing his album in a whole new different light after last nite's concert, as it comes across as a brilliantly produced concept album instead of juz an album consisting of 12 different tracks. I love the slow songs like 'Jian Jian Dan Dan', 'Sha Shi Bi Ya De Tian Fen' etc... But of coz, my fav is 'Yi Qian Nian Yi Hou', which he did a live rendition at the start of the concert. Simply
fabulous.
