After 3 full daes of blood, sweat and tears in preparation for it, the most terrifying paper is over!!! Which means no more Accounting II for me (or in fact, no more accounting for the rest of my life)! Which means that exams r officially over! Which means that the most stressful and tormenting semester of my life is finally over (yes, we'll be slacking in our final year)!!!

I was so ecstatic when i left the exam hall this afternoon (or rather yest afternoon) that the 1st thing i did was to scream, "Freedom is here!"

It's been a realli busy and exhausting and difficult semester for us marketing students. We've been bogged down by a never-ending stream of projs eva since day one, and this went on all the wae till the week before our exams started. Looking back, i can't figure out how i managed to survive through all this... But wat i can sae is, without all my lovely frens (cum groupmates) like Kylie, Janice and Jean, i wld not be here todae... They realli made our heavy workloads seem much lighter and easier to handle... I'm so happy that i've grown closer to them throughout the course of this semester, and i realli hope we can still be in the same classes next semester! I love u girls!

Now to think of it, i feel a little sad that exams r over. This signifies that our 2nd year is over and we r gonna enter into our final year soon... Wif FYP and other stuff, it'll mean that we may not get to spend so much time together anymore... I dun even wanna think beyond our final year. Hai... How depressing.

Anyhow, next up: PA. We r gonna be veri busy preparing for our dearest PA which starts on 8th May. I'll be working a 5-day week, and my pay is a meagre $600 a mth! Janice was saying that it's worse than working in Mac lor. Haha.

I'd walked into the exam hall expecting myself (and everyone else) to be slaughtered, and boy, did Ah Lam realli let us die horribly. A 40-mark killer! And it's a whole qn (no parts a b c)! Zai.

Ah Lam finally punished me for always going to his lectures late. He set a beautiful 15-mark qn which i was clueless about, and it turned out that the others had copied down his explanations for that particular slide in the notes. I feel like killing myself, seriously. Regrets...

Anyhow, i felt that the 1st qn was set so beautifully, i decided to open it up for discussion!

"Ms Tan wants to open an apparel store to sell small-sized ladies' wear (imported from Japan)... Her target group consists of mainly petite office ladies, and she intends to position her merchandise as comfortable and nice-looking clothes that can be worn in offices... The price will be of medium level..."

Qn: Discuss the pros and cons of using Kitty (12 marks), Velix (6 marks) and Marui (8 marks) as the name of the store.

It's no use working hard...

Todae, i experienced the truth in this statement once again. Same goes for my many other comrades who put in all their effort, and landed in the same pathetic state as i did.

Double blows todae. Painful indeed. I tot i had given up thinking about it... But there's this sadness lingering in the air. And i dun have the mood to resume mugging.

Mon will be 214. I dun intend to put in much effort into it. Every time i look at the notes and textbook, i'll think of Jimmy's words... Working hard does not give u anything in return. Working smart does. That is the harsh reality of life.

I can still recall wat my Primary 6 teacher told me a long time ago... There is no such thing as working smart. Everyone has to work hard to succeed.

Mr Lin, y did u lie to me?

I shall learn my lesson this time.

Woodlands library is my second home.
Da Chang Jin is my only daily entertainment.
12 to 14 is the number of hrs i spend on mugging each dae.
Five is the number of subjects i hafta handle.
Ten is the number of daes from the start to the end of my exams.
Next tuesday is the dae of my first paper.
A miracle is wat i realli need.

Finally the last tutorial of the semester is over. Which signifies... Exams r realli drawing near. *sobz*

My tutor was quite impressed wif our presentation todae, although i feel that we din realli do that good a job... That uncle is onli into gimmicks lor seriously. The last time we did our Ben & Jerry's proj, we din bring ice-cream for the claz (eh 40+ ppl leh), instead we brought empty pints to showcase the product range... Guess wat he said?

"That's so miserly of u!"

Man, i felt so insulted. It's like if we brought ice-cream for the claz, it would be a value-add, but if we din, we shouldn't be penalised rite? We learnt our lesson anyhow. This time round (our proj is on XBox), we brought a whole XBox console to claz to let our classmates try out etc... And he looked so interested in our presentation and so totally impressed wif it (although our content was not as good as last time). Wat the hell. Greedy old man.

Anywae i got back my Creative ad assignment yest (poster girl remember? haha) and i got a B+! Quite satisfied already coz i knoe i can neva get an A for my content lah... My writing skills r not that good. Anywae it turned out that my tutor recognised that it's me in the ad! Haha... He was like "wah i zuo3 kan4 you4 kan4 then keep thinking issit u not"... So funny lor! He oso kept asking me if i took the pic specially for the ad etc... He even left a funny comment in my report at the part where i wrote "the ad features a girl holding onto a Zen Vision:M"... ("Hmmm that looks like you...") Hahaha.

Laughter aside, mugging festival officially starts. Sad. Wish me good luck pls... I need all the luck i can get, seriously.

If there's one thing that can unite my whole family together, it'll be Campus Superstar.

"Bu4 neng2 rang4 na4 ge4 fu4 jia1 shao4 ye2 ying2! Zhiyang chang4 de2 na4 me4 hao3!"

"Quick vote dun sae so much le! We must shen1 zhang1 zheng4 yi4 (uphold justice) and let the bez singer win!"

I was more than happy to juz vote non-stop, knowing that the bill will be borne by my parents... =P (Ok lah i oso got contribute haha.) Can u believe it, we voted almost 40 times for Zhiyang!

Anywae i'm so so so happy that Zhiyang won! Yay!

I wasn't a fan of his until tonite... When his vocal prowess totally blew me away. First a flawless rendition of Kiss Goodbye... It was as if the song was tailor-made for him! Then the stunner of the nite - Superwoman... It realli moved me (and my mum too!) to tears. Then, i got dian4 dao4 by his yan3 shen2 when he sang Lian Ai Da Ren wif Xinhui haha... His final song of the nite (Yi Shou Jian Dan De Ge) was so touching as well... He realli put up such a brilliant performance tonite... The deserving winner of Campus Superstar indeed.

On the other hand, Teresa sang wonderfully tonite as well... She realli showed everyone that she possesses the voice of an angel... Geraldine's performance was a bit disappointing though, it was mainly caused by her sore throat i guez... But nevertheless, i still support Geraldine! Ok lah, i support both Geraldine and Teresa hehe...

It's been a happy nite... A long time since my family has gotten so hyped up and excited over sth... A good time for me to forget my troubles and destress for a while... Looking at those young idols putting in their bez performances and pursuing their dreams... Suddenly, u feel that there's hope in this world, too.
