I knoe it's kinda late, but well,
Happy Chinese New Year everyone!
This new year is passing so fast, it's
scary. Tmr is the last dae already, and hell will start rite after tmr... Ahhhh...
Anywae my whole extended family (paternal side) went to watch
Just Follow Law todae. I must sae i was a bit disappointed after reading so many rave reviews about it etc... Maybe i had my expectations raised too high. Nevertheless, it was a realli
funny show! The plot was done juz
nicely, illustrating the bureaucracy and office politics in a govt stat board... The fact that i'd worked in stat boards before (in the Marketing & Promotions dept some more!) enabled me to relate to the show even more! Haha.
Fann Wong was superb in the show, it was indeed an
eye-opener to see her sprout vulgar language and engage in all sorts of unsightly behaviour! Her portrayal of a foul-mouthed technician was so
convincing, it is definitely classified as one of her major breakthrough roles.
Gurmit Singh was great as well, as he showed how gentle and feminine PCK could be. Haha.
For those who haven't watched it, do give it a try! At the veri least, it'll
brighten up ur dae... =)

In ur eyes, all i am is a
failure. The rotten apple of the family.
U
negate all my hard work and achievements for the past few years. Yes, i may not be on the Dean's list, but at least i'm doing
well. I've overcome obstacles along the wae, persevering on and trying my veri best. But to u, all that means
nothing. All u remember is my failure four years ago.
I've put in so much
effort to make it to where i am standing todae. In less than six mths, i'll be wearing the mortar board and going up the stage to receive my degree certificate. Yes, i had fallen down
once, but i've since picked myself up and worked hard to come this far. How can u
disregard all this?
Hurtful words will always be
remembered. Mark my words.

Dressed up nicely and went to the
Career Fair todae, hoping that lady luck will shine on me and some
nice company will consider taking me in... I even rushed to make more copies of my
resume! And in the end...
No one wants us. As usual. *sobz*
The onli ppl who were so
enthusiastic in harassing us were the insurance companies. Gosh.
As time passes, hope is getting
slimmer... But well, i've got no time to think about this now! I'm
busy like crazee coz of my
FYP! To put it simply, it's in a big mess now. A whole
disaster. Argh.
